NEWCASTLE EXTENSION AND SECOND LEVEL ADDITION
Staged electrical work for a renovation and second-level addition, working alongside the builder as sections of the home were completed.
The need
The renovation involved significant alterations and a new second level. Electrical work needed to be completed in stages as construction progressed, while maintaining the existing installation where required and accommodating new lighting, power and electrical services.
What we did
- Worked with the builder throughout the staged renovation.
- Isolated and maintained existing electrical services as work progressed.
- Installed new circuits for the renovated and added areas.
- Installed new lighting, power and ceiling fans.
- Installed the owners’ vintage and Art Deco light fittings.
- Matched new electrical work with the existing home.
How it helped
The staged approach allowed the electrical work to progress alongside the building works, with existing and new electrical services managed as different sections of the renovation were completed.
