KEEP THE
LINE MOVING.
We work on the electrical and controls side of manufacturing sites: investigating faults, maintaining existing equipment, and helping with upgrades and new machinery. Most of that work happens alongside the site’s production, maintenance and engineering people.
Our approach
Looking beyond the wiring
When a machine stops or keeps tripping, the cause isn’t always in the electrical equipment. Motors, drives, sensors, controls and the way the machine is being run can all play a part. We use drawings, control logic, alarm history and time on the running plant to work out what is happening before deciding where the problem sits.
Where we can help
- Difficult faults
Use testing, system information and observation to investigate intermittent or recurring electrical problems.
- Existing machinery
Work with motors, drives, sensors and controls when equipment needs maintenance, repair or modification.
- Controls and automation
Support PLCs, HMIs, VSDs and associated control systems when equipment changes or components become obsolete.
- New equipment and expansion
Check the existing electrical system before new machinery or additional load is introduced.
Who we work alongside
- Production managers
- Maintenance teams
- Engineers
- Operators
- Project teams
Typical situations
Recurring faults
Use testing, drawings, control logic and available system information to investigate recurring or intermittent electrical faults.
New machinery
Check supply and capacity before new machinery arrives, then complete the required connection, testing and commissioning.
Shutdown work
Plan electrical maintenance, repairs and identified replacement work around the available shutdown window.
Upgrades
Upgrade or modify existing electrical and control systems as equipment ages, components become obsolete or production requirements change.
Expansion
Work through electrical capacity and equipment requirements early, then help deliver the electrical and controls work needed for the expansion.
On your team
Electrical and controls capability in the same team
The same people who look after your switchboards, motors and lighting can also work on drives, PLCs and HMIs, and update the drawings when something changes. That means a fault can be followed from the field device back through the controls without being handed between contractors.
Relevant capability
- Level 2 thermal imaging
- Advanced fault finding

75 kW compressor fault investigation
What we didCaptured the intermittent fault during motor startup and compared it with normal starting conditions.
How it helpedCapturing the fault provided evidence that was unavailable during the initial inspection.

Temporary generator connection for planned Ausgrid outage
What we didThe generator was connected before the outage began, with mains power restored once Ausgrid’s planned network upgrades were complete.
How it helpedProvided temporary power during the planned Ausgrid outage, reducing the time the facility was without power.

IDEC PLC & HMI upgrade
What we didConverted and updated the existing FC3A PLC program for the FC6A platform.
How it helpedThe upgrade replaced an unsupported PLC while retaining and updating the existing rotomoulding machine controls.
