What we help with

Common reasons we’re brought in

  • A hazardous area electrical inspection is required
  • An inspection has identified electrical defects that need rectification
  • Existing Ex equipment needs maintenance or replacement
  • New electrical equipment needs to be installed in an existing classified area

How we approach the work

01

Confirm the requirements

We start with the existing hazardous area classification, available documentation and the electrical work that needs to be carried out. For inspections, we also confirm the required inspection scope and available records.

02

Inspect or carry out the work

Depending on the job, this may involve a visual, close or detailed inspection, maintenance, replacing Ex equipment, rectifying defects or installing new electrical equipment in the classified area.

03

Record the work

We provide the relevant inspection and electrical records for the work completed. Where the verification dossier forms part of the scope, the relevant information can be added or updated as the work is carried out.
