INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICAL
MAINTENANCE.
Electrical repairs, modifications, equipment installation and improvement work for industrial sites. As we carry out work on a site, we build knowledge of the plant and use that previous experience to help with current and future jobs.

What we help with
- Repair or replacement of damaged electrical equipment
- Switchboard repairs and modifications
- Control-system modifications
- Installation and connection of new equipment
- Replacement of obsolete components where required
- Electrical improvements to existing plant and equipment
- Work identified during previous visits
Common reasons we’re brought in
- Electrical equipment has failed or been damaged and needs repair
- A switchboard, control system or existing installation needs to be modified
- New equipment needs to be installed or connected to the existing plant
- Electrical work identified during an earlier visit is ready to proceed
How we approach the work
Understand the site and the work
We work with maintenance and production staff to understand the equipment, what needs to be done and any limits on when or how the work can be carried out.
Build on what we already know
As we work on a site, we build knowledge of the equipment, previous repairs and changes made to the installation. We use that experience when we return for current and future work.
Work around the operation
Some work can be completed while the plant is operating, while other work needs to wait for a suitable production stop. We plan the work with the site based on what needs to be done.
While we are onsite, we may also identify electrical defects or other work that should be addressed. We flag these items with the site so they can be considered and dealt with when appropriate.
Relevant capabilities
We can bring additional testing and technical capability into maintenance work where it helps understand the condition of an installation or decide what needs attention.
- Level 2 thermal imaging
- Periodic assessment to AS/NZS 3019:2022
- Electrical testing and measurement
- Control and automation experience
- Electrical engineering capability

We work best alongside the people who operate and maintain the plant. As work comes up, our team builds knowledge of the site and can bring additional electrical, control or engineering capability when the job becomes more involved.
Worth knowing
RCD testing, emergency-light testing and test and tag can be included where needed, including as part of other site or shutdown work. For high-volume repeat testing, a dedicated provider may be more cost-effective.
