How we approach the work
Prepare for site
We review the electrical requirements for the equipment and project, work through the available power or generator requirements and gather the relevant mine site electrical requirements before mobilisation. Any required modifications can then be completed before the equipment arrives onsite.
Set up onsite
We can coordinate the generator, distribution, wiring, earthing, lightning protection and equipment connections, then complete the required electrical testing and commissioning. We can also rectify electrical issues identified during site inspections.
Work as part of your team
Our level of involvement depends on what the customer needs. We can communicate directly with mine site staff, coordinate the electrical installation and manage the electrical side of the project on the customer’s behalf.
Mine site requirements vary
Electrical requirements differ between mine sites. We work through the requirements relevant to the project, which may include equipment introduction, earthing and protection, testing and commissioning records, drawings, labels and equipment identification.

When should we involve you?
Ideally before the equipment is mobilised. The earlier we understand the project and mine site requirements, the more of the electrical work can be dealt with before the equipment arrives onsite.
Can you coordinate directly with the mine site?
Yes. Where it helps the project, we can communicate directly with mine site staff about the electrical requirements, inspections and work needed for the installation.
Can you handle the electrical side of the whole project?
Yes. The level of involvement depends on what you need. We can look after the electrical planning, preparation, onsite installation, testing and ongoing support, while working as part of your project team.
Can you continue supporting the equipment once it is onsite?
Yes. We can provide breakdown support, ongoing electrical testing, additions and modifications for the duration of the project.
