Project overview
MINE SITE PUMP CONTROL SYSTEMS
Two mobile pump control systems designed for mine site requirements, variable speed control and basic sequence automation.

Customer need
The customer required two mine site compliant motor control systems for pump operation. Variable speed control and basic sequence automation were needed, along with a durable design suited to the operating environment.
The equipment also needed to meet the site-specific electrical requirements so they could be introduced to site without modification or delays.
What we did
- Designed and built two identical pump control systems.
- Integrated variable speed control and pump sequencing.
- Built each system on a mobile skid with plug-in supply.
- Built the control panels in our workshop, then put the whole system together onsite.
- Completed wiring and labelling to AS/NZS 3000 and site requirements.
- Applied the required site-specific voltage and wiring colours.
- Provided electrical drawings and operator manual.
How it helped
The mobile skid and plug-in supply simplified transport, setup and connection onsite. Because the systems were purpose-built to meet the mine site electrical requirements, site introduction was completed without modifications or delays.
The completed systems provided simple pump operation, variable speed control and durable equipment suited to the harsh operating environment.
