Project overview
MANUFACTURING FACILITY AMENITIES POWER SUPPLY
Electrical infrastructure installed to supply new relocatable lunchroom and amenities buildings at an expanding manufacturing facility.

Customer need
A rapidly expanding manufacturing site required power to new relocatable lunchroom and amenities buildings. The significant distance from the accessible supply created a voltage-drop consideration, and the installation needed to minimise disruption to production.
What we did
- Utilised existing spare underground conduits covering over half the route.
- Installed an additional 60 m of underground conduit and a new pit.
- Hauled more than 160 m of cable to supply the buildings.
- Installed a distribution board and submains to each building.
- Completed equipotential bonding, testing and commissioning.
How it helped
The underground mains were installed with minimal disruption to site operations. The final connection was completed at the end of shift, limiting the power outage to less than 30 minutes and reducing the impact on production. The new distribution board also provided capacity for additional future power demand.
